2016年巴西里约奥运会的两首主题曲——《众神降临里约》和《心灵与灵魂》都是由葡萄牙语演唱。《众神降临里约》由巴西男星Arlindo Cruz联手众艺术家献唱。伴随着轻松欢快，节奏明快的桑巴音乐，巴西人民对里约奥运的期待和他们对体育，对生活的乐天和热爱，似乎都通过音乐和画面洋溢了出来。
